Sweeping Podiums at Ultra Trail Snowdonia 2025

Every year, the Ultra Trail Snowdonia weekend brings international elites to the Eryri National Park in Wales, and 2025 was no different. Among very strong competition, ETT athletes put in excellent performances in the 50k and 100k races.

Keith took the start of the 100k early on the Saturday morning, running strong throughout the day. He progressed through the field steadily, overtaking 4th place on the final climb, before pulling away into Llanberis and finishing in a superb time of 12:18:50. This performance further highlights Keith’s progression at the event, after having completed it first in 2023 (3rd place, 13 hours 33 min) and then in 2024 (joint 4th place, 13 hours 4 min). Continuous steady progress, well done, Keith!

In the 50k race, Kris and Nico raced against another stacked field in hot weather. Nico ran strongly in the top 10 from the beginning, putting in a measured performance in his first running race as he moves from racing in ski mountaineering over the winter. His great pacing saw him progress through the field to finish in a superb 5th place.

Kris ran with the front runners from the start and, after battling with Hoka teammate Sylvain Cachard through the middle aid stations, broke clear to secure the win with over 16 minutes’ advantage. A fantastic performance and Kris’ second win in UTS races, after he had claimed victory in the Eryri 25k in 2023.

Huge congratulations to all 3!
